Chef Nikos is passionate about cooking authentic Greek and Cretan food using fresh, local produce combined with seasonal vegetables and salad items from his own garden. His other passion is baking his own bread.
Hailing from Crete, Nikos has over 40 years of experience working in hotels, restaurants and cruise ships across Greece and the UK. He moved to Lancashire in 2001 and became well-known as a respected chef in the area. He visited Dumfries and Galloway in 2003, and together with his partner Caroline, fell in love with the area and moved here in 2006.
Nikos has been featured in the Dumfries and Galloway Life magazine and has taken part in cooking exhibitions for Food Town Day and Flavour Fortnight.
